Christmas thoughts...

12/17/09

Just reflecting over this past year and wanted to share my peace through my Lord and Savior, Jesus!

Christmas

This Holiday means many things to many people. For me, it is an extension of Thanksgiving. Christmas causes me to reflect on the sacrifice that God made to display his love for us and provide an example that there are no limits to what he will do for his children. Jesus dieing on the cross paved the way to ever lasting life in Heaven for anyone that accepts Jesus into their heart as their Lord and Savior, repents for their sins, and turns the control of their life over to God. This is life changing for many and an act of obedience for others. Jesus coming into my life saved me from a life of turmoil and pain.

This unmatched act of love and kindness is impossible for me to define, as I could never consider sacrificing either of my sons, for any reason, even when I am upset with them!

I thank the Lord everyday for taking control of my life and providing me with guides to keep me straight. Steven Ross, a Bail Bondsman from Prince George’s County, Maryland, has been a Mentor, Friend, Client, and spiritual guide for me, as he is far more scripturally learned then I. When it seems like evil is winning and the dark side of me is seeking daylight, he helps me to put it behind me, stay the course and follow my Lord. More importantly, Steve keeps me in the scriptures and is a true Christian Brother.

This year, let us all make a concerted effort to help our brothers and sisters overcome the economy, get back to the basics, and show each other the love that Jesus showed us. If you know of someone a little worse off than you are, help them out, quietly, any way you can. Maybe living a Christ like life will shed some peace and fellowship among our friends that haven’t felt allot of love lately.

Please remember to keep Christ in Christmas; it is his birthday and the reason for the season.

May God bless you and your families.
