When you have been released on Bond, your freedom has been transferred from the Sheriff to the Bondsman, and as a result, there are conditions that must be adhered to while on bail. Failure to comply with these conditions could result in your bail being revoked, your being re-arrested and returned to custody of the jail released from, surrender of any bail fees paid, being charged with any fees incurred by the bondsman for your apprehension, and payment of any outstanding fees or premiums on the original bond, although revoked.
The following conditions apply:
You must conform to any and all release conditions imposed by the court
You must inform your Bondsman Immediately of any change of residence, employment, or contact information. Failure to do so will result in the revoking of your bond.
You must remain in the jurisdiction of the court. Travel outside of this jurisdiction is not acceptable unless given the permission of the Bondsman, and under no circumstance is travel outside of the State or Country acceptable. Doing so will result in the revoking of your bond.
You must not maintain any ongoing criminal enterprise and being arrested for additional charges while released on Bond will be just cause for revoking your bond.
If you are required to call in, failure to do so on the day indicated for your call in will result in revoking your bond.
You must maintain communication with your Bondsman, failure to return phone calls, emails or other electronic form of contact will be cause for the revoking of your bond.
Additional conditions may apply, such as obtaining and maintaining employment, completion of a GED program, curfews imposed by your Indemnitor(s) or other such conditions as discussed at the time of your acceptance of release on Bond. By signing for your acceptance of Bond Posted on your behalf, you agree to the conditions of your Bail imposed by any Court Officer, Jointly and Severely from the conditions imposed by your Bondsman and Indemnitor(s).
